Bruck-Grossglockner, the cozy village next to Zell am See and Kaprun, is located on the outskirts of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the province of Salzburg. The ‘Grossglockner High Alpine Road’ starts at ‘kilometre 0’ in the town center of Bruck. This road leads you, via Fusch and the Hohe Tauern mountain range, to Heiligenblut, the place of pilgrimage in Carinthia at the foot of the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. Gondolas and chair lifts operate daily to the Schmittenhöhe where a breathtaking mountain scenery with thirty 3000-meter peaks awaits you.
